Michael Saylor and Phong Le Detail Digital Credit Strategy and AI Integration at 2026 Conference
During a Q&A session at the Bitcoin for Corporations 2026 conference, Strategy leaders Michael Saylor and Phong Le discussed digital credit, corporate adoption, regulatory outlooks, and internal AI deployment.

At the Bitcoin for Corporations 2026 event, Strategy executive chairman Michael Saylor and CEO Phong Le presented their outlook on the macroeconomic forces driving digital transformation. Saylor highlighted the paradox of rapid artificial intelligence scaling, which creates a deflationary productivity shock while simultaneously forcing governments to monetize debt through monetary expansion. To navigate this environment, Strategy is positioning digital capital—backed by Bitcoin—and digital credit instruments like STRC (Stretch) as modern replacements for traditional credit markets, which Saylor characterized as largely mispricing risk across $300 trillion in global debt.
Addressing regulatory concerns, Saylor emphasized that digital credit is designed to compete with private credit and high-yield corporate bonds rather than sovereign treasuries. He expressed optimism regarding U.S. regulatory leadership, citing supportive stances from key leadership at the Treasury, Federal Reserve, SEC, CFTC, and banking regulators. Le added that distribution through traditional banks and decentralized finance protocols is already expanding the reach of digital credit products to mainstream institutional and retail markets.
The executives also addressed shareholder inquiries regarding capital raises and operational strategy. Saylor dismissed concerns over stock dilution, explaining that every capital market action is evaluated based on whether it increases the company's Bitcoin yield per share. Furthermore, both leaders revealed that AI plays a central role in their daily operations, streamlining corporate workflows across legal, accounting, and financial engineering, effectively reshaping team structures into agile units paired with advanced AI models.
