Privacy Policy

If you subscribe, we store your email address for the sole purpose of sending the digest. Delivery is handled by Resend, who process it on our behalf.

We never sell, rent, or share subscriber addresses. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link, which deletes your address — or write to hello@cryptocatalyst.news and we will remove it.

We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to see which pages get read and how fast the site loads. Both are cookieless and do not build a profile of you or follow you across other sites.

We also use Google Analytics 4 to understand which stories people actually read and how they arrive. Unlike the two above, GA4 sets cookies (see below) and sends data to Google, which processes it as described in its own policy. It records things like the pages you visit, roughly where in the world you are, and what referred you. Your IP address is not stored by GA4.

We run no advertising pixels and no cross-site advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share any of this data.

You can opt out entirely with Google's browser opt-out add-on, or by blocking analytics cookies in your browser. Nothing on the site depends on it.

The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for operational and security purposes under its own retention policy. We do not use those logs to identify individual readers.

We set no cookies of our own. Google Analytics sets its own (_ga and _ga_*) to tell repeat visits apart; they expire after two years.

The site works fully with cookies blocked — nothing here needs them to render, and there is no login or paywall.

You can ask us what data we hold on you and have it deleted. Because the only personal data we hold is a newsletter address, that is usually immediate. Email hello@cryptocatalyst.news.
