About CryptoCatalyst
CryptoCatalyst is an automated crypto news digest. Every article on this site is written by software, from reporting published by other outlets, and we say so on every page.
What this site is
CryptoCatalystpublishes a daily digest of crypto, blockchain, and Web3 news. We do not do original reporting. What we do is read a fixed set of industry sources every day, pick the stories that matter, and write each one up in plain English for readers who follow crypto but don't have time to read a dozen outlets.
Every article credits and links to the original reporting it is based on. If a story matters to you, read the source — we link it at the bottom of every page, and the link is a normal followed link because the original deserves the credit.
The site has been publishing since 2026-05-08.
How an article gets made
The whole process runs once a day, unattended, in four stages:
- Fetch. A scheduled job pulls the latest items from 11 RSS feeds and discards anything already covered.
- Curate. A language model scores each candidate on relevance, novelty, significance, and readability, removes near-duplicates, and keeps the strongest handful.
- Write. A second model drafts each article from the source material, along with a summary, key takeaways, and an FAQ.
- Review. A third model acts as editor: it checks every figure, name, date, and claim in the draft against the source, and rewrites anything that drifts.
The article is then published automatically. Structured data, categories, and internal links are generated by code rather than by a model, so they can't be hallucinated.
Where our stories come from
We curate exclusively from the public feeds of these outlets:
- CoinDesk
- CoinTelegraph
- The Block
- Decrypt
- Bitcoin Magazine
- Ethereum Foundation Blog
- DeFi Pulse
- Hacker News
- Messari
- Blockworks
- Glassnode
We are not affiliated with any of them. Our coverage is derivative of theirs, and we credit them individually on every article.
Human oversight
Be clear about what this is: the daily pipeline runs without a human approving each article before it publishes. There is no newsroom and no staff writer. The editorial controls that exist are the automated fact-check pass described above, the deterministic code that handles everything a model shouldn't, and human review after the fact.
That last part is where you come in. The pipeline is monitored, and corrections are made by hand. If you find something wrong, tell us and we will fix or remove it — see corrections.
Ownership and funding
CryptoCatalyst is an independently run, self-funded project. It is not owned by, invested in, or sponsored by any exchange, protocol, fund, or media group.
We run no advertising, take no paid placements, and accept no payment of any kind in exchange for coverage or for the way a story is framed. There is a free newsletter; it is not monetized.
Nothing on this site is investment advice. See our editorial policy.
