Pump.Fun Co-Founder Details $2B Treasury, Stablecoin Plans, and Path to $100B Valuation

Since launching in January 2024, token creation platform Pump.Fun has generated over $1 billion in cumulative revenue and interacted with more than 13.5 million active wallet addresses, driving a significant share of activity on the Solana network. Speaking in a detailed interview, Noah Tweedale, co-founder of development firm Baton Corporation, detailed the platform's internal operations and corporate structure. Tweedale revealed that the underlying Pump Foundation holds close to $2 billion in stablecoin treasury assets, with 50% of ongoing revenue directed toward daily PUMP token buybacks and burns, while Baton Corporation operates on an annual development burn rate of approximately $100 million.

Social Features and Stablecoin Strategy

To expand beyond standard token launches, Pump.Fun is focusing heavily on a mobile-first social trading feed designed to unify trading across memecoins, perpetuals, and prediction markets. Tweedale highlighted recent product updates, including the acquisition and rebranding of trading terminal Padre into 'Terminal,' as well as the implementation of a 'Boost Mode' liquidity injection feature for newly migrated tokens. Looking ahead, Tweedale stated that launching a native Pump-branded stablecoin is the next logical step for the platform. The initial implementation would utilize wrapped versions of existing stablecoins like USDT or USDC before eventually transitioning asset backing into treasury bonds and cash equivalents.

Addressing governance and architecture, Tweedale expressed a pragmatic view on blockchain infrastructure, emphasizing that superior user experience and low transaction friction take precedence over strict decentralization. Operating with an 80-person team with an average age of 25, Baton Corporation intends to use its foundation reserves for targeted product experimentation and ecosystem acquisitions, aiming to build network effects that scale the business toward a global benchmark.
